Good product, but NOT quite what you might think. When I purchased this “Bloom Booster” shake and feed, I selected it over the soluble “Bloom Booster” because of its time release nature. It is supposed to deliver fertilizer for three months continuously, rather than having to dissolved it in water and apply it every two weeks. After looking closely at the information on the Amazon page, I incorrectly deduced that the two products were otherwise the same. However once the fertilizer arrived the difference became quite clear. The dissolve in water is a 10-52-10 fertilizer, while the shake and feed version is a 10-16-10 formulation. Since it is the phosphate (the second number) that is most responsible for bloom production, the dissolve in water formulation is much more likely to produce the flower results you are hoping for. That said, it is still an advantage not to have to fertilize every two weeks, but it would have been nice to know that BEFORE you decide what to buy. Amazon is very often a difficult place to find out the specifics about what you are trying to purchase. Without too much effort, Amazon could make their site much better with photos of the all of the labels on the product.

Roses are blooming We had about 35 Knock-out rose bushes planted in late March. We’ve had a very hot summner; after I cut blooms back the second time, about a week ago, I sprinkled this around all the roses, and miraculously it rained. I’ve been out of town for a week and upon returning all of the roses are blooming and look good.

Good for growing nice flowers I have used Shake and feed for many years now without complaint. If you follow the directions and properly spread the shake and feed in the appropriate amounts, you will not have any issues. Like any fertilizer if you put too much you will damage your plants. This lasts for quite a while and helps your flowering plants grow beautifully and healthy.
