Nice little wireless mouse but a battery eater I’ve had this about a month now, and it works great. However, I just replaced the duracell it came with — after a mere month. I noticed the date stamp on the battery said 2009, so maybe the battery was near dead to begin with. If I end up having to replace the battery once a month, I’m going to be annoyed, since the packaging says it has this smart battery saver logic.Apart from that, the mouse itself feels solid — the button clicks are satisfying and the wheel tension is perfect as you scroll. This is a mini sized mouse, so if you have hands larger than Adult Male Medium, you may find the mouse too small.Someone reviewed that the range was poor. I was able to control my pointer from 40ft away as long as there was a clear line of sight.UPDATE: After another month, had to replace another battery, so it wasn’t just a stale battery included. Also the rubber edge where you hold it along the side is starting to get rough from wear due to gripping which doesn’t feel all that nice. Plastic would have been better (easier to keep clean).

Great for portable tasks! I picked this bad boy up during Black Friday 2011 for $10. I always liked Logitech, but it seemed that in order to get a high quality mouse you need to shell out at least $40. This isn’t the case with this mouse. For purposes of this review I’m using a MacBook Pro 2010 13″ with OSX Lion/Windows 7 x64The packaging itself is very simple. At first I reached for my scissors, then I noticed that there was a tab in the back that peals back and opens the package. Very nice. After, you’re presented with 1 AA battery, instructions, nano receiver, and the mouse itself! My last mouse was many years ago, back when they had the so called “small” USB receiver which took up the entire usb port space blocking access to my other ports! The nano receiver is fantastic. It really is plug and forget. There’s no syncing or anything, it just works.Installing the mouse is very simple. I tried this both on Mac and Windows 7 (I use Boot Camp) and it installed without a hitch. The M305 is very comfortable. Browsing on the net is very smooth and even gaming (Left 4 Dead 2) is accurate! All and all I’m very happy with this mouse and I can see myself using it for a while.

Feel cheap to use it This one is one of the lowest cost model items from Logitech. It is good enough for kid’s occasional use but I wouldn’t recommend it for adult daily heavy use. It feels quite too small although I’ve a small hand. I also bought a Logitech Wireless Mouse M505 as well, and M505 model is much better to use it although it costs about $10 more.
